About

Laura E. Guy (b. Birmingham 1987) is an artist and writer interested in exploring the social and political dimensions of history making. Her research is particularly focused on the role of photography in the interpretation and mediation of the past, and in the development of structures that preserve radical and marginal histories. Laura also has a strong interest in industrial heritage in Britain and China. She gained her BA in Photographic Arts from the University of Westminster and currently works as assistant curator for Inheritance Projects. She is based in Newcastle, UK.
